Toys are the most important and decisive tools that help foster the mental, physical, emotional and social development of kids in their tender age. Toys are the world for the children. They yearn for them, they play with them, they ask for them, they fight over them and they protect their toys and feel protected from them. Toys are basic instruments for the development of children’s fantasy, thoughts and creativity.
All the fantasy, innocent thoughts, fairy tales, and budding creativity got blown up in the Lower Dir district of Pakistan, where children found an oval shaped thing and started playing with it. The children had found the bomb outside a girls’ primary school in Luqman Banda village of Lower Dir town. 12 children died at the spot along with many other people when that toy exploded.
Children have played with toys throughout history and in all cultures. Will Maulana Sufi Muhammad tell us some Fatwa about this also? or has he given the message through his boys that playing with the toys is also “Kufr”?
